What is a Telegram AI assistant?
A Telegram AI assistant lets you ask an assistant for help through a Telegram conversation. Ghost connects that channel to your existing assistant and its available work tools. You can send text or supported attachments, use transcribed voice notes when enabled, and receive progress and final text in the same linked chat.

Type a quick request, add a photo, or send a supported document attachment. A message can start the work without becoming a separate collection of context that you have to manage yourself.
When voice transcription is enabled, Ghost can turn an incoming voice note, audio attachment, or video note into text for the assistant. That is useful when it is easier to say the question than type it.
This is voice-note input, not a live phone call. Transcription can mishear names or details, so check important wording. Normal assistant replies return as text; an incoming voice note does not automatically request a spoken reply.

Ghost is an AI assistant for Telegram, but it is not limited to answering the message in isolation. Its available tools can find the working record behind a request: the note explaining a plan, the meeting that set the direction, or the task showing what is unfinished.
Ask for the open questions before a review. Ghost can retrieve the relevant past meeting, inspect the working note, and check the current to-dos. If a source is missing, the answer should say so.
The channel does not grant new access to every app, Telegram group, or private conversation. What Ghost can use depends on your linked account, connected sources, tool availability, and the scope of the request.

When you start a conversation in Telegram, progress and the final reply can return in that same chat. You do not need a separate delivery instruction for an ordinary response.
An outbound update is different. You can explicitly ask Ghost to send a summary to your linked Telegram account. A supported image can accompany the message, such as a chart created during a permitted research task.
If you want a recurring brief delivered to Telegram, include that delivery requirement in the scheduled task. A generic scheduled run saves its output in Scheduler; creating a schedule alone does not promise a Telegram notification.
Heartbeat can also use configured delivery channels for relevant check-ins. Its job is to assess current context, not to send a message every time it checks. Delivery still depends on the linked account and running services.

Link your account. Keep the boundaries clear.
Start in Ghost’s Telegram settings to create a fresh link code, then send the link command in the bot chat. That associates your Telegram identity with your Ghost account. If a code expires, create a new one. You can disconnect the link when you no longer want to use it.
Telegram is another way to reach Ghost, not a replacement for the services and tools doing the work. The bridge and agent service must be available. A task involving a browser or computer tool also depends on the relevant host, connection, and permissions.
Use a personal request with a clear scope: find the note, summarize the research, or update the named task. Do not assume that chatting from your phone makes every action available while your Mac is offline.

Does Ghost support live voice calls in Telegram?

Can I ask about my notes, meetings, and tasks?
Yes, through Ghost’s available tools and connected records. It can look for a relevant note, past meeting, or task rather than relying only on the wording of your Telegram message. Missing or inaccessible sources should be disclosed.
How do I connect or disconnect Telegram?
Create a fresh link code in Ghost’s Telegram settings and send the link command in the bot chat. Use a new code if it expires. The bot also supports unlinking the account.
Can a scheduled task send its result to Telegram?
Telegram delivery can be part of a task’s explicit instructions when the account and services are available. A generic scheduled task saves output and status in Scheduler; it does not automatically promise Telegram delivery.
Will everything work while my Mac is offline?
Do not assume that. Availability depends on the agent service, Telegram bridge, connected integrations, and any host tools the task needs. A Telegram connection alone does not make unavailable browser or computer tools reachable.
Can Ghost message any Telegram user or read every group?
Ghost sends Telegram updates to your linked account. Linking your account does not give Ghost blanket access to other private chats or groups, and this page does not promise arbitrary-recipient messaging.
