Use the PowerPoint workflow when you need a PPTX file: create a deck, edit content, or work within an existing template. The document tools run in a sandbox; the required rendering and editing dependencies need to be available.
A PDF is a static handoff. Exporting an HTML deck to PDF does not preserve animations or interactive behavior, and converting formats is not a promise that every layout remains pixel-identical.
